World-class honors for our clients in 2019 PIA Awards

Every year, print companies from across the globe submit their best work to the Printing Industries of America’s Premier Print Awards competition.

As the largest graphic arts trade association, PIA is devoted to the advancement of the graphic communications industry worldwide. Receiving a Best in Category Award – also known as a “Benny” – from this prestigious international contest is an honor beyond compare.

This year, American Litho is exceedingly proud to share the Benny Award for excellence in catalog printing and design with one of the nation’s leading creators of bridal and formal gowns.

The winning catalog – featuring innovative design and sumptuous full-color images – stood out among more than 2,200 entries from all over the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America and the U.K. as well as China, Taiwan, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates.

To be honored with a Premier Print Award, submissions must exhibit truly superior print quality and exceptional craftsmanship. This is why we’re so thrilled to see Mary’s Bridal rise to the very top of this world-class competition.

Among the thousands of submissions, the PIA judges also select a few exceptional projects to receive Certificates of Merit in specific categories of excellence. We are delighted that long-time cruise line has won the 2019 Certificate of Merit for beautiful foil-stamped detail on its brochure.

“This is the world’s largest upper premium cruise line,” says American Litho Account Executive Brian Johnson. “They are known for the finest cuisine at sea and the most intimate and luxurious shipboard experience … and the winning brochure is a perfect showcase for all of the exceptional qualities that makes them first and foremost in ocean travel.”
