Earlier this year we had the privilege of producing the 212-page Summit Charcoal Grill Cookbook for Weber-Stephens Products Corporation, the maker of iconic Weber Grills.
This was an exciting project from the get-go, and we knew it would demand the best from our entire crew. Ron Weeks, our National Accounts Director, started off by searching for the ideal substrates to make every mouth-watering recipe and photo pop.
“Every decision, from materials to binding methods, was strategically made to achieve a perfect balance between high-end quality and the company’s target spend,” he says. “This continued right through to the brand-building plan we online jolietta casino put together for rapid fulfillment, which ships the book directly to selected Weber customers from our in-house inventory.”

Design firm Rabble+Rouser worked with Weber to create the case-bound cookbook’s impressive layout. The book features a turned-edge cover sheet with soft-touch film laminate and printed end sheets.
Pre-press pro Bob Petitti and customer service expert Will Wells worked with two shifts of American Litho press professionals to deliver excellence.

Working on a project of this caliber is an honor in itself. So we were really excited to hear that the cookbook had won a 2016 Gold Ink Award for printing excellence.
These prestigious awards are given out each year by Printing Impressions, the leading trade publication for the graphic arts and printing industry. Entries are judged by top-level graphic designers, agency production managers, and corporate print buyers looking for exceptional quality.
The cookbook stood apart from more than 1,000 entries in its category.
“Every time we ship a copy out to a new Weber enthusiast, we feel pride in the quality of what we’ve produced,” Weeks says. “It’s been great to serve as Weber-Stephens’ total brand partner in this challenging project.”
