Job Title: Production Manager

Job Description

Coordinate the production team, flow of work, and production of printed marketing materials, direct mail and collateral projects. Serve as the primary liaison with outside vendors.

 

Responsibilities

Handle multiple priorities in fast-paced, deadline driven environment

Manage a wide variety of work successfully

Administrate press checks as required

Attend, production briefings, weekly internal status meetings

Attend financial accountability meetings, discuss production costs on each project

Ensure all projects are being handled in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner

May include other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

Must be detail-oriented and process minded

BA in Graphic Arts, Communications or related field is preferred

Five (5) to seven (7) years of print production, with some experience in direct mail

Experience as a Production Manager within a print production department

Working knowledge of all graphic arts mediums, experience and knowledge of process color reproduction

An understanding of the various printing processes: web, sheet fed and digital

Overall understanding of the various departments within print production

Lettershop experience preferred
