American Litho is celebrating the news that our company has been voted one of the best places to work in the Chicago area for a second straight year.

This annual honor comes from the Chicago Tribune and is based on independent research by Energage, a workplace improvement specialist. We are very proud to be on the roster of top mid-sized workplaces in our region, a reflection of our commitment to team and individual success.

As the Tribune recently reported, the number of employees leaving their jobs each year has nearly doubled since 2010. Part of that trend is the need for people to move on when they don’t see opportunities for advancement. We believe in providing those opportunities for all team members so that careers can grow right along with our company’s success.

One example of this is the new HP- PageWide Web Press T240 HD that recently arrived at our Carol Stream facility. We’re among the few marketing companies in the U.S. who have installed this innovative system and we’ve seen nothing but amazing results with it. With this new technology on the floor, we now offer 100% variable messaging on our HP 12000 sheet-fed system and the roll-to-roll T240 system. Our team members are having a great time exploring what these cutting-edge systems can do for our clients.

Effective personalization depends on solid data analytics, and we’re very proud that our Amerilytics platform empowers us to mine data for additional opportunities, predict performance of direct mail response, explore list acquisition techniques and create conversion zones — all with measurable results.

With these integrated systems in the house, we are able to offer our team members a wide array of opportunities for growth. As people build skills, we also make it a priority to promote from within.
